396 Chevy in '08 Mercedes SL?
I think it would be really funny if someone put a carbed 396 Chevy and th400 from a scrapyard in a 2008 Mercedes SL convertible, but don't change anything else. Then go to car shows and people would be like WTF! You open the hood on a $100,000 new German car and there's a carbed 60's chevy big block with a cheap air cleaner, chrome valve covers, rusty headers, and dried grease everywhere. They just wouldn't know what to say.
It would be really funny to pull into a Mercedes dealer service garage and act like you need to get something fixed. The mechanics would probably stair at the car in complete confusion as it creates a primitive and loud rumble resonating around the shop. Then they'd open the hood and be like "OK then...why the F would you do this."
Does anyone else think this would be funny? Don't say "no, that would be horrible!" Of course it would but that's why it's hilarious!
